ワーム感染インパクト級アラート。Firefox アドオン DownloadHelperさんのスパイシーな仕掛け。このフォーマットにはいろいろ可能性を感じる。
確かに煩わしく感じる面もあるだろうけど、たとえばデスクトップで使うフリーウェアなんかについても「きみはこれまでこのソフトウェアを100回起動したけど、作者を支援してみませんか? 方法は…」といったプロンプトを出す共通のお約束とかフレームワークとかがあってもいいと思う。
こういうのもシステムのデザイン次第のはずだ。
Sourceforgeじゃ全然集まらなかったけどgithubに移ったら寄付が増えた、みたいなプロジェクトなんてのもあるんだろうか?
